Reach high, for stars are hidden in your soul. Dream deep, for every dream precedes the goal.

I am a true believer in life long learning. I have earned my B.S. in Human Development and Family Relations, my M.Ed in Education, and my C.A.S. in School Leadership....with about a gizzillion additional credits in areas of interest...from science and technology to Chinese culture!
I have had many wonderful opportunities to go on "ultimate field trips"....learning at Space Camp and the Kennedy Space Center...sky diving over Addison, VT...exploring the Grand Canyon....Mt. Haleakula, Maui, Hawaii... other fantastic spots around the U.S. including Washington D.C. ( I received a special honor there in 2003, NEA Vermont Teacher of Excellence)....the Great Wall and provinces throughout China ...the Alps and other areas in Switzerland.... regions of Spain, France, England, Iceland, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Morocco, and Gibraltar....coral reefs and islands of the Caribbean....regions of Italy..... and many areas of Japan! I have been fortunate enough to meet some wonderful people along the way....
In the summer, I often study by taking courses of interest to benefit my students. I also explore places in Vermont and sail all over Lake Champlain...How lucky we are to live in such a beautiful place!..... I am a true believer in experiential learning!!!
I live in Shelburne with my family....You may hear about their adventures as well!.... Students like to know that I have had many pets over the years...a tarantula, two baby boa constrictors, gerbils, guinea pigs, a variety of lizards, tropical fish, three horses, parrots, parakeets, doves, and dogs. My family and I love animals and enjoy learning about them!
... We are all forever learning.
